Arlington

The 100 Homes Arlington campaign completed their Registry Week in October 2011 and is led by the Arlington Department of Human Services and A-SPAN.

More than 150 community volunteers and Arlington County staff went out into the streets of Arlington to identify and survey the most vulnerable homeless individuals. Click here for the results!

Roanoke

1,000 Homes Roanoke is led by the Blue Ridge Continuum of Care and conducted their Registry Week during their Point in Time Count on January 23, 2012.

Peninsula

50 Peninsula is led by the Greater Virginia Peninsula Homelessness Consortium and includes all six localities:  Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, York County, James City County, and Poquoson.

Philadelphia Registry Week Boot Camp

Philadelphia Registry Week

On May 13th – 16th, VCEH Program Manager Robin Gahan along with members of the 1,000 Homes - Richmond team attended the 100,000 Homes Campaign Registry Week Boot Camp in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  There, we met with other interested communities spanning from North Carolina, New Jersey, and Delaware to learn the basics of how to conduct a registry week in an intensive training session.

Virginia Boot Camp

Over 60 community leaders from across the country, including 30 from Virginia, came together for the 100,000 Homes Campaign Registry Week Boot Camp, sponsored by the Virginia Coalition to End Homelessness and the 1,000 Homes for 1,000 Virginians initiative. This event was held in conjunction with the Richmond Registry Week where 100 volunteers canvassed the streets in search of the most vulnerable individuals experiencing homelessness.
