Supporting Local Long-Term Solutions

VCEH does not directly assist clients; instead we assist the organizations and agencies that directly serve clients to understand best practices and support them in adopting these best practices.

Our work focuses on

- assisting communities to develop and then implement local or regional ten year plans to end homelessness;

- providing technical support for writing the annual Continuum of Care application (application to the federal government for federal homeless assistance funding);

- creating permanent supportive housing and rapid re-housing programs;

- and other best practices.

VCEH provided analysis and assistance to communities on implementing the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program.

VCEH is available for both brief consultations and on a fee-for-service basis to provide targeted assistance to communities.  Contact Phyllis at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for more information.
