Virginia's Local Ten Year Plans

VCEH Fact Sheet published in fall 2009 of Virginia's local ten year plans to end homelessness. (Note: Since this document's publication, several additional communities have adopted ten year plans.)

Many communities in Virginia and across the country have developed local ten year plans to end homelessness. These plans are tools to bring together a broad group of stakeholders to utilize data and research to understand the needs of those experiencing homelessness, to identify gaps in homeless prevention and assistance services, to coordinate and streamline existing services,  and to plan for new evidence-based practices. The key to a good plan is a strong implementation strategy.
